Red Wigglers (Eisenia fetida)

Also known as redworms, brandling worms, tiger worms or manure worms, are the hardiest and the most preferred species of earthworms for composting purposes. Eisenia fetida are very prolific, thrive at high population densities and have voracious appetites.

Once a worm bin is established, 1lb of Red Wigglers can consume between 1/2 to 1 lb of organic matter per day. Red Wigglers not only do a remarkable job of recycling organic waste, but they transform it into one of the best natural fertilizers – castings.

Red Wigglers are also good for feeding to reptiles, birds and fish.  There are between 600 - 1,000 Red Wigglers per lb.  Do Not Refrigerate!

All prices listed include shipping charges to the lower 48 U.S. States.

Live Delivery Guarantee
These worms are guaranteed to be delivered alive.  In the case of the worms not arriving alive, we will either refund your money or reship the worms to you.  Since we want your worms to arrive in good condition, we may delay shipments if the weather conditions are extremely hot or cold.

For the Live Guarantee to be valid, the worms have to be signed for and accepted on the first delivery attempt.  Please make sure that someone is at your address to receive the delivery.  If nobody will be available to accept the worms,  just let us know when you are ordering to write, “HOLD AT POST OFFICE FOR CUSTOMER PICKUP” on the outside of your box.  We will then guarantee the worms for 24 hours at the Post Office, allowing you plenty of time to pick up your worms.

Failure to accept the worms on the first delivery, or failure to pick up the worms within 24 hours at the post office will void the Live Arrival Guarantee.
